Before And After Photos
This woman has several children. Her breasts “fell” after her pregnancies. She has significant drooping, loss of superior fullness and very dense breast tissue. We discussed many options including a breast lift (mastopexy) and augmentation, but she was worried about the scars. We elected to perform a SUBGLANDULAR breast augmentation with relatively large implants (375cc) as a compromise until she felt she needed a lifting procedure.
If I elected to place her implants below the muscle, her breast tissue would hang off her implants. Therefore, I placed the implants ABOVE the muscle and chose a larger sized implant. This not only provides for more lift, but the implant could also fall with the breast and fill out the lower portion. This may be all she needs, but we anticipate that her breasts will continue to drop over time and eventually she will need a formal lift (mastopexy) and relocation of the implants below the muscle.
