Patient Details

This is a 22 year old female, 5’10” and 130 pounds interested in a breast augmentation. She is seen here after a bilateral breast augmentation with 375cc high profile implants placed beneath the muscle through an incision in the bottom of the breast.

Learning points:

1. This is a “classic” breast augmentation. Her anatomy is perfect for a breast augmentation as her breasts are even, there is no ptosis or sag to her breasts and she has great young tissues.
2. She told me that most of her friends think her breasts look “natural” and not augmented. She sometimes wished that she never told anyone she had an augmentation (but admits that she really doesn’t care if people knows she has implants as nice breasts are nice breasts).
3. She likes the fact that she can “dress them up” when she wants and “hide them” when it’s necessary. This flexibility is based in a large part on the reasonable size that we chose.
4. She told me at first she though she should have gone larger but after a year she thinks that they “are perfect”.
5. She fully understands the benefits of a supportive bra on the preservation of her impressive result. You can see in the photos that her bra keeps her breast well supported and “up and in”.
