Patient Details
This patient had a breast revision procedure performed. Her original surgery was a placement of 400 cc subglandular saline implants done elsewhere. With time her breast became larger and saggier. She had a previous breast lift as well. Her scars were shaped like an anchor. She still wanted breast implants. She just wanted her breast to be perkier. You can see in her preoperative photos that she has significant lateral breast skin excess. We discussed exchanging her existing implants for smaller implants (240 cc) as well as a modification of her breast lift. This would entail a reduction of the sagging breast tissue, liposuction of the lateral breast area to promote retraction of the skin as well as a reconfiguration of her skin excess in general so her breast will be smaller, firmer and more youthful. These photographs were taken around 6 months which is quite early during the recovery. Her scars will lighten in color and become finer with time. She is quite happy with her results overall and she feels lighter and more youthful.
