Patient Details
This is a 31 year old woman who is 5’5″ and 130 pounds interested in a breast enhancement. She basically said she wanted her breasts to have more “bling”.
She is seen here after a bilateral breast augmentation with 370cc textured anatomic implants (tear dropped shape highly cohesive silicone variety).
She is very happy with her result. It has done a great job of shaping her breasts and correcting some of the sagging at the bottom part of her breasts.
These implants have been in use for years on a trial basis and released to the general use market in 2012. Their role in routine breast augmentation is still being established. Demand for these implants has not been as much as anticipated, in part because of the potential for implant rotation and because they are a bit firmer than some would prefer. In the right patient, however, results are quite nice.
