This patient had a nose job with me several months ago and is now the proud owner of a refined, normal and perfectly natural and functioning nose! Her breathing went from a 2/10 to a 7/10 after her nose job. This is impressive because in almost all cases the nose is made smaller which actually makes breathing more difficult. Because of this anatomical fact, I often work on the interior of the nose to make sure breathing is as good as it was or better than so my patients can have their cake and eat it too!

A secret I can divulge regarding breathing goes as follows: enhancing breathing typically involved operating on the septum of the nose and the turbinates to improve the shape and size so the airways are more patent. I have learned to use a dilation device that bluntly expands the airways without the need for complicated surgery that has significant risks. It has proven clinically to be very effective and it’s simple!
