This is a 51 year old mother of two who is 5’4″ and 122 pounds interested in a breast enhancement. She told me she wanted her breast lifted and really wasn’t interested in a breast implant. On examination, her breasts are asymmetrical and ptotic. She has lost superior breast fullness. They don’t appear particularly flattering.
We discussed options at length in terms of her goals. After this education and enhanced awareness provided by someone who has been here many, many times before, she came around to seeing the value of a breast implant and a small reduction/lift procedure as opposed to just a lift without an implant. She also has inverted nipples, a condition where the nipples never come out or they do on and off over time.
She is seen here about a year after a bilateral breast lift with implants. I augmented her with 200cc moderate profile silicone implants and put them beneath the muscle. I removed around 25 grams of tissue on each side, and I tightened her loose skin envelope and move her nipple-areola complexes up on her new breast implant foundation. I corrected her inverted nipples on a second procedure as I did not want to run the risk of wound healing problems with her nipple-areola complexes that could occur if I did “too much” in that area at one time.
