Breast Lift With Implants Gallery Plastic Surgery in Austin | Patient 32

Patient Details

This is a 42 year old mother of two from Austin, Texas who is 5’1″ and 116 pounds who was interested in a breast enhancement as well as body contouring options. Her breasts are moderate plus sized, with significant sagging of the gland and enlargement of the areola diameters. She initially told me she wasn’t interested in a breast implant because her husband can always tell women who have had their breasts done. Learning points:

1. With so many “fake” looking breasts out there it’s no wonder that patients don’t want to be augmented. But the fact is that not all augmented patients look fake. The purpose of the breast implant is to provide for fullness at the top of the breast that is not achieved by any procedure without an implant. The dense, heavy breast tissue that hangs from the bottom is reduced to minimize the potential for the breast to sag again.
2. This is a pretty nice result overall. Her breasts are certainly “higher, tighter and perkier” and the smaller areola make a big difference. I also did a fair amount of liposuction of her body so that the combination is very powerful. She no longer has that “matronly” appearance that can creep up on women as they get older and after kids. Larger breasts don’t help the situation at all as they make women appear wider, top heavy and certainly not “perky”.
