Patient Details
This is a 27 year old patient 5’7″ and 166 pounds who presented for a breast enhancement. She wanted larger, more attractive breasts. On examination, she has high breasts on her chest wall, she has very large chest muscles, her breasts are ptotic and they are also asymmetrical. I knew from the outset that this would not be an easy case.
She is seen here after a bilateral version of the breast lift with implants procedure I call the Breast Reduction with Augmentation (BRA). I placed 475cc high profile round silicone implants beneath the muscle and I removed 99 grams of tissue on the right and 48 grams on the left. She is seen here about seven months after her original procedure and she complains to me that she thinks her left breasts looks a little “weird” because it is sitting off the side more than the right breast.
On examination her breast are soft and very attractive. She has scarred very well for a woman of color. Her left breast implant is certainly more lateral than the right but this is really quite “normal”. She absolutely loves her results overall. Take a careful look at the picture with her bra on as this reveals a lot.
