Patient Details
This is a 32 year old female, mother of three, 5’8″ and 150 pounds who was interested in a breast enhancement. Her breasts are deflated and saggy, and her skin and breast tissue are of very poor quality. Most certainly she will benefit from a breast lift with implants. The simple idea is to add an implant that will “rebuild” her new breast upwards and give it shape, and reduce the poor quality skin and tissue that does not add any “value” to the reconstruction. I can’t just “suture up” the saggy tissue. It has to go.
She is seen here after a breast augmentation with 325 cc moderate profile smooth silicone implants beneath the muscle, and a “lift” and reduction through a vertical approach. The final scar is lollipop shaped. I had to remove some skin excess beneath her left breast about six months after the initial procedure as it didn’t retract well enough. This made for a small scar in the breast crease that you actually can’t see.
