This young women is seven months out of a breast augmentation with 440cc high profile smooth walled silicone implants placed beneath the muscle.
She is very happy and rightly so. Her result is quite impressive. She was an ideal candidate because of her symmetrical breasts and chest wall. She wishes she had gone larger but also knows why she didn’t. She fully enjoys them and says they have been a “game changer” in her life.
When will she need to have them changed out? There is no right answer to this question. They will likely last for over 25 years and there is no need to change them out after ten years as some patients learn from the Internet. Generally speaking, if all is well with your breasts (they are not firm or painful), you really don’t need to do anything to your breasts.
As always, a breast augmentation does not mean you don’t have to wear a bra. This is nonsense. Always support your breasts for the best long term result.
