Financing

Another common question we get relates to insurance and financing. We are not on any insurance plans and do not accept any insurance. Financing of cosmetic surgery has become quite common over the past several years since most insurance companies do not cover these procedures.

“This was simply amazing. I submitted a Virtual Consultation and Dr Caridi got back to me in no time with his assessment and his staff gave me an idea of pricing. I had visited two other surgeons in person and I had to fight the traffic, wait a long time in the office and waste my entire afternoon. I just can’t get over how easy and convenient this is!” —Sara N

Financing Information

Financing of cosmetic surgery has become quite common over the past several years since most insurance companies do not cover these elective procedures. Many companies are willing to loan you money if you qualify. The interest rates are generally better than a credit card and the loans are structured so that affordable payments can be made for up to three to five years. A quick Internet search will provide you with many options to choose from.

Westlake Plastic Surgery has relationships with two of the leading lenders for cosmetic surgery procedures – CareCredit and MedLoan Finance – links are below. For additional information about plastic surgery financing, visit financing-plastic-surgery.com. Financing Plastic Surgery educates potential patients by describing how plastic surgery financing works and offers links to major financing companies, loan tips, and a payment calculator.

Apply For CareCredit Financing

Note: we do not accept CareCredit’s no interest promotion. We accept CareCredit’s 24, 36, or 48 month reduced APR and fixed monthly payments financing.

Our Payment Policies

A $500.00 non-refundable scheduling fee is required to reserve a surgery date. This will be applied to your surgery payment. There will be a 24 hour grace period before this policy is enforced. You will receive a full refund if you change your mind within this grace period.

Surgery fees are payable by certified check or cash one week prior to your surgery, or a personal check two weeks before surgery. We do not accept credit or debit cards for surgery.

What’s Included?

Generally speaking, our price includes the cost of the facility, the anesthesiologist’s fee as well as the surgeon’s fee. Our pricing also includes most implants. Garments and prescriptions are the responsibility of the patient. When multiple procedures are performed during one operative session, a discount is usually given compared to the sum of the individual procedures. Pricing can vary considerably when your procedure is performed outside of our private operating facility.

An Important Reminder

Please be aware that any complication from your procedure that requires hospitalization or additional procedures is your financial responsibility. Patients also need to be aware that your health insurance may or may not cover an expense related to a cosmetic procedure.

Please do your research well in advance and ask your insurance company about their policies for coverage of complications that arise from cosmetic procedures. However unlikely this scenario may be, the out-of-pocket cost can be quite expensive.

Have More Questions?

If you have any further questions, please give us a call at (512) 732-0732. We won’t be able to provide a price quote over the phone – please see the two above consulation options to receive a price quote – but we’re happy to answer any other questions you may have.
