Dr. Robert Caridi
The Westlake Plastic Surgery staff is headed by Dr. Robert Caridi, board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He attended John Dewey High School in Brooklyn, New York. He began his undergraduate training in 1976 at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He transferred to The University of Texas at Austin in 1979 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 1981. Dr. Robert Caridi attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston from 1981 to 1985, where he earned his medical degree.
After medical school, Dr. Caridi did a three year general surgery internship, a three year plastic surgery residency, and a one year plastic surgery fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Caridi was a resident in medicine and surgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and completed rotations at the following affiliates: Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, NY; The Bronx Veterans Administration Medical Center, Bronx, NY; The City Hospital Center at Elmhurst, Queens, NY; and The Westchester County Medical Center Burn Unit, Valhalla, NY.
Dr. Caridi began private practice with a plastic surgery group in the Chicago suburbs where he remained for 8 years. In 2000, Dr. Caridi and his family relocated to Austin, Texas, and founded Westlake Plastic Surgery. Dr. Caridi is recognized as one of the most highly recommended plastic surgeons in Austin, Central Texas and nationwide. His practice is cosmetic surgery based. His field of specialty includes complex breast revision procedures, his Breast Augmentation and Reduction (BAR) procedure, his artistic facial work, his passion for nose refinement and his sincere drive to help those men who suffer the debilitating condition of gynecomastia with his very own nationally recognized Austin Gynecomastia Center.
Dr. Caridi has been practicing plastic surgery for over twenty five years. He is passionate about his chosen field of specialty, he is very honest with his patients in terms of his evaluation and recommendation, and he practices at the very highest level in terms of safety. He enjoys the great outdoors, exercise and living life to the fullest with his wife and two daughters. Family means everything to him. He considers himself to be very lucky to have such a wonderful practice in the great City of Austin.
Dr. James Wilson
Dr. James Wilson
Dr. James Wilson is Westlake Plastic Surgery’s board certified anesthesiologist. Dr. Wilson graduated from high school in Alamogordo, New Mexico. His undergraduate education was at Baylor University from 1976 to 1980 graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry. Dr. Wilson attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston from 1980 to 1984 where he earned his medical degree. His anesthesia residency was at The University of Mississippi.
After teaching at Ole Miss, Dr. Wilson took his first private practice job in Athens, Georgia where he was Director of Cardiac Anesthesia for eleven years. He left that position to cofound a new anesthesia group in Asheboro, North Carolina. In 2012, Dr. Wilson returned to Texas to be Director of Anesthesia and Medical Director of the Operating Rooms at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights. Dr. Wilson met Dr. Caridi in 2015 eagerly accepted his invitation to join him at Westlake Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Wilson is happy to provide the highest quality anesthesia for all surgical patients and serves as Facility Director for the Operating Room.
Lacy Stewart, RN
Lacy Stewart, R.N. is a native Texan and came to us from Wichita Falls. Lacy attended Midwestern State University where she pursued a degree in psychology. It was on this pursuit that she realized her true passion, Nursing. She went on to receive her Nursing degree at Vernon College. She is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Lacy has honed her skills to a very high level under the mentoring of Dr. Caridi and is the chief nurse at WPS. She is responsible for the clinical operations of the office and can be found in surgery, in the recovery room and caring for patients during office hours.
Lacy has a Texas-friendly personality and our patients warm up to her immediately as she assists them in each area of the Westlake Plastic Surgery experience. She is an easy smile, has a warm personality, and she is sensitive to the needs of our patients. In a very short period of time, she has developed into a first rate plastic surgery nurse who will never forget the primary role of all nurses—to take wonderful care of their patients.
Sarah Davis, RN
Sarah Davis, R.N. has over 9 years experience as a nurse in the operating room, labor and delivery room, and in pediatric cardiology. She is also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation. In 2009, she became part of the team at Westlake Plastic Surgery, but is currently working part-time at the office so she can enjoy raising her three children.
Sarah enjoys getting to know patients through each stage of their surgery experience, like initial consultations, pre-operative appointments, surgery, recovery, and post-operative care. Her warm and compassionate care puts our patients at ease.
Maria Noonan, RN
Maria Noonan, RN is a true Austinite and grew up in the hills of Westlake. It was a lifelong dream of Maria’s to become a nurse. Maria fulfilled that dream when she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (BSN) from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. Maria is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. She enjoys caring for patients at each stage of surgical process, including pre-operative and post-operative from consultations to recovery room.
Maria enjoys working with the patients and she has a passion for providing quality, patient-centered nursing care. You will always see her with a smile on her face. She is one of five kids. In her free time, she enjoys running the town lake trail, listening and dancing to music, and spending time with her family and friends.
Carol Moon joined the Westlake Plastic Surgery staff in January 2016. She is a licensed Cosmetology Instructor and registered Sr. Laser Technician. Carol has over 30 years’ experience in esthetics having worked at some of the top spas and salons in Seattle and Austin.
She is one of Westlake Plastic Surgery’s Patient Coordinators and attends to all aspects of the front office operations. Carol’s experience makes her a welcome addition to the day-to-day operations of Westlake Plastic Surgery.
Carol is currently pursuing her Surgical Technician degree at Austin Community College.
Ana Webster, M.A.
Ana Webster has been part of the Westlake Plastic Surgery family since 2009 and has grown up with the practice. Ana attended and received her certification as a Medical Assistant from Southern Careers Institute. She is responsible for maintaining the integrity of asepsis in the operating room, cross-trained to assist in the recovery room, and involved in direct patient care during consultations and follow up appointments. Ana strives to deliver quality care and prides herself on providing a warm environment for both our English and Spanish speaking patients. If you were to ask any of our staff here at WPS, we’d say that Ana is an integral part of our team and has proven herself time and time again to be an important asset.
Ana grew up in Mexico City, and at a young age made her way to Austin and is now a true Texan at heart. When she is not at work, Ana loves to spend time with her family, whether that be at soccer practice or relaxing at home.
Cherri Hill joined the Westlake Plastic Surgery team 13 years ago bringing along many years of experience in the healthcare industry. She is the “mama bear” of the practice and oversees all aspects of our front-end operations. An avid Longhorn fan, she attended the University of Texas in Austin along with Dr. Caridi, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in social work.
Growing up in a military family has made it easy for her to form relationships with patients from all walks of life. Cherri truly cares for our patients and wants you to feel like family while assisting you throughout your journey. She is the person you will speak with when you decide to schedule a procedure. Her goal is to educate and support you throughout the process. She is passionate about hospitality and committed to caring for your needs. Cherri has deep roots in and much love for the hill country of Central Texas. She enriches her life with travel, family, friends and, of course, her cats.
Dr. Diane Keeler-Boysen
Diane Keeler-Boysen moved to Texas from Florida in 1976. She pursued a career in medicine, graduating from the Medical School at University of Texas San Antonio in 1983. She completed a residency in Pediatrics and Anesthesia in San Antonio and earned her Board Certification in Anesthesia. In June 2015, she relinquished her anesthetic duties to Dr. James Wilson in order to sharpen her focus on non-surgical rejuvenation techniques.
During her 15 years at Westlake Plastic Surgery, she has been trained and mentored by Dr. Caridi in non-surgical procedures. Dr. Boysen does all neurotoxin injections (Botox), fillers, permanent makeup tattooing and microneedling, specializing in PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma). She has an artistic eye and a warm personality, easily relates to patients and enjoys discussing procedures that will best treat the individual patient.
Her clientele has always been gathered via word of mouth, which has brought her many loyal patients over the years and provided Westlake Plastic Surgery with physician administered treatments. Dr. Boysen continues to seek out, evaluate and learn about new non-surgical procedures that both her and Dr. Caridi feel will provide true value to our patients.
Rebecca Anne Czapski, Licensed Esthetician, RNFA
Rebecca Anne Czapski is a fully Licenced Esthetician and a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA), with over 30 years surgical experience in plastic surgery and numerous medical specialties.
As a top graduate of Avenue Five Institute’s Esthetician Program, she brings over 12 years of a cosmetic nurse consultant and operating room experience in plastic surgery to her aesthetics practice, Skin Care by Rebecca Anne, which is currently a part of the Westlake Plastic Surgery office.
Becky has spent the last 12 years working closely with Dr. Caridi at as an RNFA. This experience has provided her with extensive knowledge in skin care. Becky has assisted in procedures such as rhytidectomy (facelift) with deep chemical peels, abdominoplasty, rhinoplasty (nose job), breast reduction, augmentation and reconstruction.
Prior to her arrival at Westlake Plastic Surgery, she worked at numerous surgical hospitals and centers in plastic surgery, orthopedics, ENT, OB-GYN, ophthalmology, neurosurgery, and cardiovascular surgery. Becky received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona Tucson and completed the RNFA Program at Northern New Mexico Community College.
Becky has volunteered numerous hours assisting surgeons for Austin Smiles, a medical mission to Central America providing facial reconstruction in children with cleft lip/cleft palate. She maintains certificates in Certification for Preoperative Nursing, Advance Cardiac Life Support and Basic Life Support, and is a member of the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses, American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses and the Associated Skin Care Professionals.
