Breast Lift With Implants

Before And After Photos

This is a 35 year old mother of a few kids who is 5’6″ and 200 pounds who has asymmetrical breasts and who desired the following:

  1. Wants fuller breasts.
  2. Wants symmetrical breasts.
  3. She wants to wear a bathing suit that looks good.
  4. Wants a breast size that is proportional to her figure.

She is seen here after a bilateral breast lift with implants – in this case the more advanced variant I call the Breast Augmentation and Reduction (BAR). I used 440cc high profile silicone implants beneath the muscle with a 148 gram reduction on the left and a 25 gram reduction on the right side. I also performed liposuction of the lateral breast, underarm area for 350cc of fat removal.

I believe we achieved all our goals. There is some side to side asymmetry but it really isn’t a deal breaker for sure. This was a complicated procedure and it is reasonable to expect some post-operative asymmetries. Sometimes I can improve on the result but sometimes it’s best to leave well enough alone. Her result is actually amazing when you consider what she started off with.

I generally prefer to use the same size breast implants (breast foundation) and alter the amount of tissue to create the symmetry. This is the ideal way to make two breasts that look and feel the same. What also nice in her case is that her breasts actually come to the middle (she has cleavage). This took some effort with post-operative breast molding to develop implant pockets that extend to the middle of the chest. She is very pleased.
