Breast Lift With Implants
Before And After Photos
This is a 38 year old female who is 4’8″ and 103 pounds with one child who presented to me for a breast enhancement. The combination of time, her child and a forty pound weight loss affected her breasts. She liked the size but not the shape of sagginess of her breasts.
She is seen here after a bilateral breast lift with implants procedure. I used 250cc high profile silicone implants beneath the muscle through a vertical “lift” approach and removed about 100 grams of dense breast tissue from each side.
There is an impressive difference at one year out from her procedure. Her breasts are up, perky and firmer. The shape is improved.
Once again, in the properly selected patient, the BAR procedure is a powerful technique to improve the saggy breast. The concept is simple – use an implant to build the upper part of the breast and reduce the saggy low tissue. It has been my experience that a “lift” alone does not last and does not provide for superior breast fullness that is very desired by patients. Another way to look at it is that I can’t take what you have and shape it into what you see from her BAR – it’s simply not possible, and if anyone tells you otherwise I would be very skeptical. Breast tissue that is “lifted” will find its way down over a short period of time. This is not to say that a breast lift alone is not a good procedure. It means that your expectations have to match the result you would expect with different procedures. Options are good. You need to make sure what you want can be achieved with a particular procedure. Surgeon experience and honesty often makes the decision relatively easy.
