This patient presented with large, dense breasts and downward-directed nipple–areola complexes that created a heavy, matronly appearance.
More importantly, she felt matronly. Her breasts made her appear heavier than she was and caused persistent shoulder and back discomfort. They were physically and emotionally burdensome.
I removed approximately 450 grams of predominantly glandular tissue using a carefully planned inferior pedicle technique, resulting in a classic anchor-pattern scar. The goal was not simply reduction — it was reshaping, elevation, and restoration of proportion.
