Patient Details
This mother of one who is 5’8″ and 152 pounds, presented to me with the request for “higher and tighter” breasts. She has spent time on my website looking at the various options and feels that the more advanced version of the breast lift with implants procedure that I call the Breast Reduction with Augmentation (BRA) is what she believes will make her most satisfied. She has lost superior fullness and her breasts are ptotic (saggy).
She is seen here five months after her procedure. We performed a BRA procedure using 300cc High Profile silicone implants placed beneath the muscle through the vertical incision on the breast that results in a final lollipop shaped scar. I removed about 80 grams of tissue on each breast. It is easy to see that her breasts have been “lifted” with more superior fullness and less saggy tissue. When I asked her what could be better with her result she told me that she thought her nipples were a bit on the low side and that she liked her breasts two weeks after the procedure because she had so much superior fullness and her breasts hadn’t settled as much. It’s interesting to me that I have offered her the most POWERFUL procedure to lift and tighten the breasts and she still wants them even more lifted and tighter! I suspect that after she is shown her before and after photos she will realize the huge gain from her BRA procedure. As I have written before, most patients don’t remember what they used to have so sometimes they don’t appreciate what they have. I used a HIGH PROFILE implant in her case because she wanted the most superior fullness possible.
