Patient Details
This is a 37 year old mother of three, 5’7″ and 140 pounds interested in a breast enhancement. On examination, she had nice, smaller breasts but with very little ptosis (which is remarkable after three kids).
She is seen here after a bilateral breast augmentation with 300cc high profile silicone implants placed beneath the muscle. Her breasts are beautiful, bountiful and very soft and natural in appearance. She loves them.
The best candidate for a breast augmentation is a patient who doesn’t need one. What this means is a woman who has sufficient breast tissue for adequate volume. The need for an implant is essentially a boost in size and superior breast fullness with the smallest implant possible. The goal of implant size is to choose the smallest implant to achieve your goal.
