Patient Details
This is a 37 year old mother of one, who is 5’7″ and 133 pounds interested in a breast augmentation. She has a narrow, sloped chest area and a narrow waist. Her shoulders are narrow and her hips are fuller.
We tried on sizers for quite some time trying to find just the right balance between her upper and lower body. It seemed like the larger implants didn’t work as well as the smaller ones.
She is seen here a year after a breast augmentation with smooth round high profile implants placed beneath the muscle from an incision at the bottom of the breast. I used 350cc on the left side and 325cc on the right side to compensate for the different breast size.
She has been very good about supporting her breasts with a quality bra. She actually has learned to like the “sleeping bra” at night which provides for a lot of support laterally. Because of the sloped chest wall, her implants will want to move under her arm over time if she doesn’t do something to prevent this from happening.
