Patient Details
This patient is shown after a breast augmentation – she is at 7 weeks so continued softening and settling will occur. Once your breasts have settled and dropped to their ideal level, it’s imperative to keep them at that level by wearing a working bra to keep them slightly higher (up and in) so the pocket doesn’t keep expanding in unwanted directions. This is the common complaint that my “breasts are lateral”. If your breasts are creeping off to the side over time it’s because you are not wearing a support bra at night and keeping them up front. This creep is related to the pressure of the implants on the skin causing expansion of the breast pocket.
