Patient Details
This is a 35 year old mother of one who is 5’4” and 126 pounds interested in a tummy tuck, also called abdominoplasty. Although her abdomen is not bad at all, on examination there will be a benefit from skin removal and fascial tightening.
She is seen here about one year after a full tuck and a breast augmentation. I have included some additional close up photos of her scars because she is over a year from her procedure and they are much better after time. Obtaining a nice scar around the belly button is important as this can be quite visible in a two piece bathing suit. I often recommend that my patients put a marble in the area of the belly button for several months after the procedure as this helps with the shape and scarring.
