Patient Details
This patient had a mini tuck and some liposuction of her abdomen and flanks. She had a lower abdominal scar from her C section, and it was depressed and there was some skin excess. It was most noticeable when she bent over. You can appreciate the enhanced definition of your midsection. It helped to create a narrower waist!
A mini tuck only works on the area of the abdomen between the umbilicus and the pubic area. It’s ideal for those patients who have skin excess located to this area and have a relatively flat abdomen. A full abdominoplasty works on the entire abdomen and includes tightening of the underlying fascia for maximal flattening of the abdomen.
