Patient Details
We performed a liposuction of the trunk and extremities of this 5’5″ and 141 pound patient. I removed 6250 cc of fat. The results are quite dramatic and typical in a patient who has excellent skin. Note the pictures of her backside and her arms in particular (it almost doesn’t seem like it’s the same person!). She actually gained five pounds since her pre-operative weight, and we insisted that she lose this in order to realize the best result. Appropriate weight control after liposuction is critical to a long term satisfactory result. Liposuction should not be used as an alternative to a sensible diet and exercise regimen. Large volume liposuction should only be performed by an expert with this procedure (removal of greater than 5000cc of total aspirate).
