Breast Revision Gallery Plastic Surgery in Austin | Patient 78

Patient Details

This patient presented with complaints of symmastia (implants touching in the middle of the chest) and large ripples of the medial breast that you can clearly see on the frontal view.

I removed her existing saline implants and did an extensive internal repair to secure the implant pockets so they would no longer be able to touch in the midline. This is often caused by breast implants that are too large or when the surgeon over dissects the implant pocket during the original procedure. Also, it’s likely to occur in patients whose chest slopes downwards to the sternal bone so the breast implants move to the middle by gravity.

Notice the nice separation of her breasts and the improved shape with the elimination of the big creases from her cleavage area.
