Patient Details
This patient desired more youthful, fuller, and symmetrical breasts. On examination, there was a clear asymmetry, with one breast larger and positioned slightly lower than the other. Rather than using different implant sizes—a common but less precise solution—we elected to use identical implants and instead tailor the native tissue. By removing more tissue from the larger breast, we were able to create true balance in both shape and feel.
At just two months following surgery, her results demonstrate excellent symmetry, natural contour, and size appropriate for her frame. The breasts appear soft, well-shaped, and harmonious—exactly the goal of this approach. She is extremely pleased with her outcome and has embraced her new figure with confidence.
Equally important is her commitment to postoperative care. She is consistently using silicone scar strips, which remain the most effective method for optimizing scar quality. These will be continued for a minimum of six months.
Her bra selection is also appropriate and supportive, providing the essential “up and in” positioning that protects and maintains the surgical result over time. This includes wearing a supportive bra even at night. Gravity is relentless, and long-term success depends not only on surgical technique, but on proper support. An excellent bra is the most reliable way to preserve a beautiful result for years to come.
