This is a really nice case to have some discussions. This patient had his gynecomastia treatment surgery procedure about 4 months ago. He had large gynecomastia masses removed. Today, he was rocking a smile and his body looked amazing. His chest is impressive with no scar tissue. He was very compliant with my post-treatment recovery instructions about working the chest area to keep scar tissue away. He is as soft as butter. He lost a significant amount of weight and feels like he is a new person. He wrote a lengthy review that was very heartfelt as he focused on helping his brothers who suffer from gynecomastia and want to know what it’s like to get treatment and life afterwards. He is lucky to not have some issues with scar tissue as it is not uncommon to have scar tissue after such large masses are removed. As a general rule of thumb, the larger the case the more the possibility of scar tissue development—particularly large, rock like masses of tissue like his. The body wants to fill empty space with blood or fluid, neither which is good for healing. When I showed him his pre operative photos he told me that he can’t remember what that was like, and can’t believe that was him. He says he is mentally cured almost 100 percent. I hope his case is inspirational on many levels.
