Patient Details
This patient is seen before and after liposuction of her abdomen and a full tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) with fascial plication. The final scar rests hip to hip on the lower abdomen and one around her belly button. You can appreciate that she has a relatively thin body habitus, and that after her kids she developed well localized skin laxity around her central abdomen with folds, creases and stretch marks.
The goal of the procedure was to primarily address this issue of central abdominal funk. The lipo will help contour some of the fat rolls, whereas her tuck will address the skin and fascial laxity. She is seen here about 7 months after her procedure. It appears like we have achieved our objectives. I’m not sure that in clothing there is a big difference. I know that when she is not clothed there is a really big difference. I often hear from patients that they are ok looking better with clothing. How about looking amazing NAKED? How cool is that!
