Patient Details
This patient had a full abdominoplasty with some liposuction of her abdomen and flanks. She also had a BRA procedure—breast reduction and augmentation. Her breasts were too large and matronly, not to mention saggy. Her abdomen was full and she had no waist at all. The combination of procedures was transformative on many levels. A full tuck is a procedure that tightens the skin of the entire abdomen with a scar around the belly button as well. The fascia on the abdominal wall is typically sutured to take in the laxity associated with pregnancy and weight gain/loss over time. The ideal candidate is close to their ideal weight because it’s not possible to satisfactorily tighten the abdomen if it is too full with fat (it’s a huge compromise in terms of the quality of the results).
