It’s been ten years since the inception of the Austin Gynecomastia Center. I realized many years ago that gynecomastia is a big deal to my patients—yet I was never taught in my plastic surgery residency that there is a profound mental component to the condition of “man boobs” and male breast reduction.
Here I am a decade later with one of the largest gynecomastia practices anywhere. I am so grateful to all my patients who have taught me the true meaning of gynecomastia, and who have opened my eyes with the stories they share. I am approaching 1000 cases and I currently treat over 125 patients each year—WOW! My website has educated millions by increasing awareness of this condition. Patients have visited the AGC from all over the globe; I have really enjoyed meeting people from all different walks of life.
I promise all my patients, past, present and future, that I will practice at the highest level possible and that I will continue trying to better understand the psychological impact of gynecomastia so that I can more effectively treat all aspects of this unwelcome condition.
Once again, thank you all. I look forward to a future when not a single man suffers from gynecomastia.
