Breast Augmentation

Before And After Photos

This mother of seven desired breast enhancement. She previously had an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). She is an excellent example of a patient with deflated breasts and breast ptosis.

We discussed the multiple options available in her particular case:

  1. She could choose a larger implant and would enjoy a significant improvement in her breast appearance. However, larger implants don’t “fit” all patients, and are associated with more issues especially in thin patients with very little breast tissue.
  2. She could select a smaller implant, but she will almost certainly need a breast lift in addition.

She decided on the larger size implant even though there could be a risk of complications. We performed a bilateral breast augmentation with 400cc silicone implants placed through and inframammary incision. She was fortunate that the larger implant fit her very well and she did not look too large, overdone or artificial. She is very happy with her results and she has been wearing a supportive bra. Note her improved appearance albeit imperfect results. She could always elect to have a mastopexy (breast lift) in the future.
